![]() ![]() When I open the Storage Manager panel, I can see local and online revisions of my schematic sheets. In the image below, I’ve opened one of my Altium 365 projects in Altium Designer. You can access these different revisions in the Storage Manager panel in Altium Designer. When you open an Altium Designer project, you can access older revisions of your design files stored on your local machine and online. Whenever you make changes to a schematic, PCB document, or another file, a previous revision will be stored on Altium 365. So this begs the question, where can I find earlier revisions of design files? Everything you see in your Workspace web instance is the most recent revision of your design files. When you open your Workspace web instance on Altium 365, you won’t see your previous revisions of your schematic files. If you’ve never used revision control for PCB design, here are some guidelines for local and server-managed revision control in your Altium 365 Workspace. If you need to revert to an earlier revision of a local file, you can include this previous revision in your Workspace web instance on Altium 365. You can revert to copies of design files within Altium Designer. You can easily roll back to earlier revisions of a design, clone a current project, and access a previous revision. So I'd say that this is not the cleanest way to make the PCBs in general, but it looks OK for my project (a prototyping board).Altium 365 enables the same capabilities for revision control. I tried different setting and I found that if I press TAB during manual routing I can choose "Ignore obstacles" mode which made me possible to connect the pins (I will just ignore the errors I will definitely get during DRC): After that I can press Ctrl-C and add the component easyĪctually this was described in the gray box in the upper left corner of the screen.Press Ctrl-C (I can use context menu as well).I find the way PCB editor doing the Copy-Paste: The second problem is that I can not multiply pads and components: Ctrl-C -> Ctrl-V is not working. I can add components, pads - but I can't add traces (I can start the trace but I can not go to another pad - which is reasonable as there is no net created in schematic). I'd like to make a PCB but I don't really need a schematic for it (it is just a prototyping board). ![]()
